We offer a service to 3D-print your shield in plastic before producing it in metal!
This is part 1 to get a plastic test shield.
In part 1, you will receive a series of plastic templates with different curves. They will let you figure out the best curvature that fits to your crotch area, and the length and width of the shield that fits you best. Note that every template is branded with “kink-knack” to make sure you are using the legit templates from us; please only use marked templates from us to do your measurements for a fitting shield from kink-knack.

Step 1: Separate the curved templates and the triangular shape
Step 2: Put the curved templates over your crotch through the middle of your vulva, one after the other. Check which one has the right curvature such that there is no air gap anywhere between the perineum and the clitoris. The actual location of the template is not important, e.g. a bit further up or down. At this stage, only the curvature is important.
Step 3: Once you found the best curvature, let’s measure the shield length. The templates are longer than needed. On the lower end of the template, find the middle of the perineum and mark this position on the template. On the upper end, mark the position 1-2 cm above your clitoris on the template. We will cut the shield length according to these two measurements.
Step 4: Remove the templates and cover your vulva and the perineum with the triangular shape. Now slide the shape further between your legs, but only as long as the width of the shape is still comfortable. Mark the width until where the shape is still comfortable; this will be the shield width between your legs.
Once you completed these steps, you are ready to order part 2 of the plastic test shield (the actual shield).
